Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • for garnish fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. While the air fryer is heating, wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Cut them into thin fries, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the sweet potato fries with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper. Toss well until the fries are evenly coated.
  4. Place the seasoned sweet potato fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches).
  5. Air fry the sweet potato fries for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking. They should turn golden brown and crispy.
  6. Once cooked, remove the fries from the air fryer and place them on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

💡 Chef's Notes

For extra heat, add more cayenne pepper.
