Berry Almond Overnight Oats Tasty and Nutritious Meal
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
- 0.5 cup Greek yogurt (or plant-based yogurt)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 0.5 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 2 tablespoons almond slices
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, maple syrup (or honey), vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until all ingredients are well mixed.
- Fold in the mixed berries, reserving a few for topping later.
- Divide the mixture evenly into two jars or airtight containers.
- Seal the jars and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours) to allow the oats to soften and flavors to meld.
- In the morning, give the oats a good stir and add a splash of almond milk if you prefer a thinner consistency.
- Top with the reserved berries and sprinkle almond slices on top before serving.
