Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup caramel sauce
  • 0.25 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 medium apples, cored and sliced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work well)
  • 0 optional Chopped pecans or walnuts for topping

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Use a hand mixer or a whisk to blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. In a separate bowl, warm the caramel sauce slightly in the microwave (about 15-20 seconds) until it’s pourable but not hot.
  3. Add the cinnamon to the caramel sauce and mix well.
  4. Layer the cream cheese mixture into the bottom of a serving dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  5. Drizzle the caramel sauce evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  6. If desired, sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts on top for added crunch and flavor.
  7. Serve immediately with apple slices on the side, or refrigerate until ready to serve.
