Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • optional chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it's browned and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper into the beef mixture, combining well. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  4. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, ensuring that the cheese is evenly distributed throughout the beef mixture.
  5. Open the package of biscuit dough and separate the dough into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit in your palm to resemble a small circle.
  6. Place about a tablespoon of the cheesy beef mixture in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  7. Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit over the filling to create a ball shape, pinching the seams together to seal them well.
  8. Place the biscuit bombs seam side down onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them out evenly.
  9. Brush each biscuit bomb with the beaten egg to give them a golden finish when baked.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the biscuit bombs are puffed up and golden brown.
  11. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. If desired, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for garnish.
