Cheesy Garlic Bread Deliciously Made at Home
Ingredients
- 1 large French baguette
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 2 grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the baguette in half lengthwise to create two long pieces.
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), and salt. Mix well until fully combined to create the garlic butter spread.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture generously onto the cut sides of both halves of the bread.
- In a separate bowl, mix the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Sprinkle the cheese mixture evenly over the garlic buttered sides of the baguette.
- Place the prepared baguette halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cut side up.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- For an extra crispy top, broil on high for an additional 2-3 minutes, keeping a close watch to prevent burning.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing into pieces.
