Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites Easy and Fun Treat
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated for safety)
- 1 2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon milk (add more if needed)
- 1 cup chocolate melting wafers (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the all-purpose flour on a baking sheet and bake for 5-10 minutes to heat-treat it, ensuring it's safe to eat raw. Let it cool completely.
- In a medium mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and salt, and then gradually add the cooled flour. Stir until all ingredients are fully combined. If the dough seems dry, add 1 tablespoon of milk until the desired consistency is reached.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Use a small cookie scoop or your hands to form tablespoon-sized balls of cookie dough. Place them on a lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Melt the chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Dip each cookie dough ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Place the chocolate-coated bites back on the lined baking sheet. Refrigerate again for about 15-20 minutes until the chocolate is set.
