Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 0.5 cup crushed nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, blending until just incorporated.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips and milk, mixing until the dough comes together. If using, fold in the crushed nuts.
  6. Using a small cookie scoop or your hands, form the dough into bite-sized balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Freeze the cookie dough bites for 30 minutes or until firm.
  8. Once firm, transfer the bites to an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator or freezer for a delicious treat anytime!
