Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 0.33 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 package (8-ounce) cream cheese, softened
  • 0.25 cup milk (or more for desired consistency)
  • 0.5 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, mix the softened butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until creamy and well combined.
  2. Add the cream cheese and vanilla extract to the bowl, continuing to mix until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the all-purpose flour and pinch of salt, mixing until fully incorporated.
  4. Stir in the milk, a little at a time, until you reach your desired dip consistency. You want it to be smooth and creamy, but not too runny.
  5. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dip.
  6. Transfer the cookie dough dip to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill and firm up a bit before serving.

💡 Chef's Notes

Serve with an assortment of dippers like pretzels, graham crackers, and fresh fruit. Place a drizzle of melted chocolate over the top of the dip for an attractive finish!
