Chocolate Tahini Banana Bread Moist and Flavorful Treat
Ingredients
- 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
- 0.5 cup tahini
- 0.5 cup brown sugar
- 0.25 cup honey or maple syrup
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and tahini, mixing until smooth.
- Add the brown sugar, honey (or maple syrup), eggs, and vanilla extract to the banana mixture. Whisk until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the baking soda, baking powder, salt, and flour.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips and walnuts (if using) until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
