Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 2 brown sugar
  • 1 2 chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 2 raisins (optional)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 to taste powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters. Place the pieces evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces in the baking dish, ensuring all pieces are coated.
  5. If desired, sprinkle chopped pecans and raisins over the top for added texture and flavor.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is puffed up and golden brown.
  7. Once done, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes.
  8. Drizzle the icing that came with the cinnamon rolls over the top before serving.
  9. For an extra touch, dust with powdered sugar before serving slices onto plates.
