Cinnamon Roll Casserole Irresistible Breakfast Delight
Ingredients
- 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 2 brown sugar
- 1 2 chopped pecans (optional)
- 1 2 raisins (optional)
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 to taste powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters. Place the pieces evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces in the baking dish, ensuring all pieces are coated.
- If desired, sprinkle chopped pecans and raisins over the top for added texture and flavor.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is puffed up and golden brown.
- Once done, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes.
- Drizzle the icing that came with the cinnamon rolls over the top before serving.
- For an extra touch, dust with powdered sugar before serving slices onto plates.
