Cinnamon Roll Mug Cake Tasty and Quick Treat
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 quarter teaspoon baking powder
- 1 quarter teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 eighth teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 half teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon butter, melted
- 1 half teaspoon ground cinnamon (for swirl)
- 0 optional Cream cheese frosting for drizzling
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe mug, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt. Stir to combine well.
- Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until you have a smooth batter.
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon together.
- Pour half of the mug cake batter into the mug, then drizzle the melted butter over it. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top evenly.
- Pour the remaining mug cake batter on top, covering the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Microwave the mug cake on high for about 60-90 seconds, checking at the 60-second mark. It should rise and look set around the edges but slightly moist in the center.
- Let the mug cake cool for a minute or two before enjoying it warm.
- If desired, drizzle with cream cheese frosting for an extra treat.
