Cinnamon Roll Pancakes Tasty Breakfast Delight
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; do not overmix.
- In a small bowl, combine the ground cinnamon and brown sugar. Set aside.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.
- For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet. Immediately sprinkle some of the cinnamon-brown sugar mixture on top of the pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip the pancake and cook for an additional 2 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- In another bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until creamy and smooth to create the glaze. Adjust milk as necessary for desired drizzle consistency.
- Stack the pancakes on a plate, drizzling the cream cheese glaze over the top.
