Creamy Avocado Cilantro Dip Delightful and Fresh
Ingredients
- 2 whole ripe avocados
- 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 whole lime, juiced
- 0.5 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1 small jalapeño, seeded and minced (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a food processor.
- Add the fresh cilantro leaves, minced garlic, lime juice, Greek yogurt, and olive oil to the processor.
- If you like a bit of heat, add the minced jalapeño now.
- Blend the mixture until it reaches a smooth and creamy consistency, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Taste the dip and season with salt and pepper according to your preference.
- If the dip is too thick, you can add a little water or extra lime juice to achieve your desired consistency.
- Transfer the creamy avocado cilantro dip to a serving bowl.
