Ingredients

  • 2 whole ripe avocados, pitted and peeled
  • 0.25 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • as needed water (to thin the dressing, if necessary)

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, add the ripe avocados, Greek yogurt, lime juice, minced garlic, honey (or maple syrup), and fresh cilantro.
  2. Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. If the dressing is too thick, gradually add water, one tablespoon at a time, and blend until the desired consistency is reached.
  4. Season the dressing with salt and pepper to taste, blending again to incorporate.
  5. Transfer the creamy avocado dressing to a serving bowl or airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

💡 Chef's Notes

Serve the dressing in a small bowl with a sprinkle of additional cilantro on top and lime wedges on the side for an added pop of color. Drizzle over salads, tacos, or use as a dipping sauce for fresh veggies!
