Garlic Butter Lobster Tail Recipe Simple and Quick Meal
Ingredients
- 4 pieces lobster tails
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- to taste salt and pepper
- for serving lemon wedges
Instructions
- Preheat your oven broiler to high.
- Prepare the lobster tails by placing them on a cutting board. Using kitchen scissors, cut through the top shell of each lobster tail down to the tail fin—be careful not to cut the meat. Gently pull apart the shell to expose the lobster meat.
- In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly until fragrant.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped parsley, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the exposed meat of each lobster tail. Make sure to reserve some for basting during cooking.
- Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Broil the lobster tails in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, basting with the remaining garlic butter halfway through, until the lobster meat is opaque and slightly caramelized on the top.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the tails.
💡 Chef's Notes
Serve the lobster tails on a decorative platter, drizzled with any leftover garlic butter and garnished with extra parsley for a pop of color.
