Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 spray cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken breasts to coat them lightly. This will help the breadcrumb mixture adhere better.
  3. Take each chicken breast and press it into the breadcrumb mixture, making sure to coat both sides thoroughly.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Once preheated, lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  6. Place the coated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching each other for even cooking.
  7. Cook the chicken for 12-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. The chicken should be golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  8. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute.

💡 Chef's Notes

For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs.
