Garlic Parmesan Air Fryer Wings Crispy and Tasty Snack
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This step is crucial for achieving a crispy texture.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder until well combined.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them in the marinade until they are evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. Cook until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
- Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a large mixing bowl. While they’re still hot, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and, if desired, a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for extra heat. Serve immediately while hot.
💡 Chef's Notes
