Garlic Parmesan Roasted Cauliflower Simple Delight
Ingredients
- 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
- 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- to taste salt and pepper
- for garnish fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a large bowl, combine the cauliflower florets, olive oil, minced garlic, garlic powder, dried oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), and a generous pinch of salt and pepper.
- Toss the cauliflower until it's evenly coated with the oil and seasonings.
- Spread the seasoned cauliflower in a single layer on the baking sheet, ensuring there’s enough space between the florets to promote even roasting.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 25–30 minutes, turning the florets halfway through, until they're golden brown and tender.
- Remove the cauliflower from the oven and immediately sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the hot florets.
- Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
- Once done, remove from the oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
