Homemade Garlic Parmesan Wings Flavorful and Easy Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings, tips removed
- 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and minced garlic. Toss in the chicken wings to coat them evenly with the garlic butter mixture.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Sprinkle the cheese mixture over the garlic-buttered wings and toss until they are well coated.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded for even cooking.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the wings for extra crispiness and bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are golden and crispy.
- Once baked, remove the wings from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. For an extra touch, sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley before serving.
