Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, tips removed
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and minced garlic. Toss in the chicken wings to coat them evenly with the garlic butter mixture.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  4. Sprinkle the cheese mixture over the garlic-buttered wings and toss until they are well coated.
  5. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded for even cooking.
  6. Drizzle the olive oil over the wings for extra crispiness and bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are golden and crispy.
  7. Once baked, remove the wings from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. For an extra touch, sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley before serving.
