- 8 slices deli ham
- 8 sticks string cheese
- 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 serving marinara sauce (optional for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
- Take one slice of ham and place it on the wide side of the crescent triangle.
- Place a string cheese stick on top of the ham, then sprinkle with garlic powder, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Starting at the wide end, roll the crescent dough around the ham and cheese, pinching the edges to seal the ends.
- Place the rolled sticks on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each stick.
- Brush the tops of the sticks with the beaten egg to give them a golden appearance once baked.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until they are puffed and golden brown.
- Allow them to cool slightly before serving. If desired, serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
