Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for garnish fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the honey mustard mixture over them, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Let the chicken marinate in the mixture for at least 20 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for deeper flavor).
  5. Bake the chicken uncovered in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is golden brown.
  6. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  7. Drizzle any remaining sauce from the baking dish over the sliced chicken and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
