  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup lump crab meat (fresh or canned)
  • 0.5 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Use a hand mixer or whisk to blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add in the shredded cheddar cheese, lump crab meat, green onions, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Gently fold until all ingredients are well combined.
  4. Transfer the crab dip mixture into a baking dish (about 8x8 inches works well) and spread it evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

💡 Chef's Notes

Serve hot with dippables like toasted baguette slices, tortilla chips, or fresh vegetable sticks. Garnish with chopped green onions and paprika.
