Lavender Elderflower Gin Sour Refreshing Summer Sip
Ingredients
- 1 cup elderflower cordial
- 1 cup sparkling water
- 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4-5 lemons)
- 2 tablespoons agave syrup (or to taste)
- as needed cubes ice cubes
- as needed slices lemon slices and edible flowers for garnish
Instructions
- Infuse Lavender: In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the dried lavender. Let it steep for about 15 minutes, then strain out the lavender flowers and allow the infusion to cool.
- Mix the Mocktail: In a large pitcher, combine the elderflower cordial, fresh lemon juice, lavender infusion, and agave syrup. Stir well until the agave syrup is fully dissolved.
- Chill with Sparkle: Just before serving, add ice cubes to the pitcher and top it off with the sparkling water for a refreshing fizz. Stir gently to mix.
- Serve: Pour the mocktail into glasses filled with extra ice if desired.
- Garnish & Enjoy: Garnish each drink with a slice of lemon and a sprinkle of edible flowers for a beautiful touch.
