Ingredients

  • 1 whole ripe mango, diced
  • 2 whole ripe avocados, diced
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small jalapeño, finely minced
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 whole limes, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced mango and diced avocados. Gently mix to avoid mashing the avocados.
  2. Add the finely chopped red onion and minced jalapeño to the bowl.
  3. Sprinkle in the chopped fresh cilantro, followed by the lime juice.
  4. Optionally, drizzle the honey over the mixture for a touch of sweetness and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Gently toss all the ingredients together until just combined, ensuring the avocados and mango remain intact.
  6. Let the salsa sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together before serving.

Serve in a clear glass bowl to showcase the vibrant colors. Garnish with additional cilantro leaves and lime wedges.
