Ingredients

  • 1 whole ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 whole banana, frozen
  • 0.5 cup Greek yogurt (vanilla or plain)
  • 0.5 cup coconut milk (or almond milk)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground ginger (for a spicy kick)
  • as needed various fresh fruits for topping (sliced kiwi, berries, banana, etc.)
  • as needed various granola for crunch
  • as needed various chia seeds or shredded coconut for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, add the diced mango, pineapple chunks, frozen banana, Greek yogurt, coconut milk, honey (if using), and ground ginger.
  2. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more coconut milk to achieve your desired consistency.
  3. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or maple syrup.
  4. Pour the smoothie mixture into a bowl.
  5. Artfully arrange the fresh fruits on top of the smoothie base, creating a visually appealing pattern.
  6. Sprinkle granola for added texture and crunch, along with chia seeds or shredded coconut for garnish.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy a refreshing taste of the tropics!
