Maple Butter Roasted Sweet Potatoes Flavorful Side Dish
Ingredients
- 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 2 nutmeg

- 1 4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced sweet potatoes with melted butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Toss everything until the sweet potatoes are evenly coated.
- Spread the sweet potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. If using, sprinkle the chopped pecans on top for added crunch and flavor.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are tender and slightly caramelized, stirring halfway through for even cooking.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a serving dish.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired for a pop of color and freshness.
