Maple Glazed Brussels Sprouts Irresistible Side Dish
Ingredients
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 0.25 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- to taste Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 0.25 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts, olive oil, maple syrup, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until the sprouts are well coated.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts out evenly on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are in a single layer.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are tender and caramelized.
- If using pecans, add them to the baking sheet for the last 5 minutes of roasting to toast lightly.
- Once done, remove from the oven and transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving bowl.
