Margherita Naan Pizzas Fresh and Flavorful Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 pieces naan bread
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1.5 cups fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 0.25 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the naan breads on the prepared baking sheet.
- Spread a generous layer of marinara sauce over each naan bread, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Layer the sliced fresh mozzarella evenly over the sauce on each pizza.
- Scatter the halved cherry tomatoes on top of the cheese.
- Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning if using.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before adding fresh basil leaves on top.
- Slice into quarters and serve hot as an appetizer or main dish.
