Ingredients

  • 1 lb frozen French fries
  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups provolone cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • for garnish fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven and cook the frozen French fries according to the package instructions until golden and crispy. Set aside when done.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the sliced onion and green bell pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are soft and slightly caramelized. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced ribeye steak. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Add the Worcestershire sauce and mix well. Pull the skillet from heat and mix the sautéed vegetables back into the steak.
  4. On a large baking sheet, place the cooked fries in an even layer. Spoon the steak and vegetable mixture evenly over the fries.
  5. Generously sprinkle the provolone cheese over the top of the fries.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. After removing from the oven, garnish your Philly cheesesteak fries with freshly chopped parsley.
