Ingredients

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 4 cup crushed graham crackers (plus extra for topping)
  • to taste none fresh strawberries or banana slices for dipping
  • to taste none extra mini marshmallows for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium-sized oven-safe skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Once the butter is melted, remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips and vanilla extract until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  4. Stir in the crushed graham crackers until well combined, then spread the chocolate mixture evenly across the skillet.
  5. Top the melted chocolate layer generously with mini marshmallows and a sprinkle of extra crushed graham crackers for added texture.
  6. Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for about 5-7 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden and toasted.
  7. Carefully remove the skillet from the oven and allow it to cool for a minute before serving.
  8. Serve immediately with fresh strawberries or banana slices for dipping.

💡 Chef's Notes

Serve the skillet straight from the oven on a heat-safe trivet. Use a vibrant plate under the skillet to make the dessert pop, and arrange the slices of fruit around the skillet for a colorful and inviting presentation.
