Tropical Fruit Salad Refreshing and Simple Delight
Ingredients
- 1 whole ripe pineapple, peeled and diced
- 2 whole kiwis, peeled and sliced
- 1 whole mango, diced
- 1 cup shredded coconut (sweetened or unsweetened)
- 1 whole banana, sliced
- 0.5 cup blueberries
- 1 whole orange, segmented
- 1 whole lime, juiced
- 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup
- to taste none fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced pineapple, kiwi slices, mango, banana, blueberries, and orange segments.
- Gently toss the mixed fruit together to combine, being careful not to mash the banana.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice and honey until smooth.
- Drizzle the lime-honey mixture over the fruit and gently mix to coat all the ingredients evenly.
- Finally, sprinkle the shredded coconut over the top of the salad and give it a light toss.
- Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Before serving, garnish with fresh mint leaves for an added burst of color and flavor.
