Vegan Chocolate Avocado Mousse Creamy and Rich Dessert
Ingredients
- 2 whole ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
- 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 0.25 cup maple syrup
- 0.25 cup almond milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- a pinch sea salt
- optional fresh berries, coconut whipped cream, or chopped nuts
Instructions
- In a food processor or blender, combine the ripe avocados, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt.
- Blend on high speed until the mixture is creamy and smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary to ensure all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Taste the mousse and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more maple syrup. If the mousse is too thick, add a little more almond milk until the desired consistency is reached.
- Once blended, transfer the mousse into individual serving cups or ramekins.
- Cover with plastic wrap or lids and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to cool and firm up.
- Before serving, remove from the refrigerator and garnish with your choice of fresh berries, coconut whipped cream, or chopped nuts.
