Almond Joy Energy Bites Easy and Tasty Snack Idea
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 0.5 cup almond butter
- 0.25 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
- 0.25 cup honey or maple syrup
- 0.25 cup dark chocolate chips
- 0.25 cup chopped almonds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond butter, shredded coconut, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Add the dark chocolate chips, chopped almonds, and sea salt to the mixture. Stir until evenly distributed.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. If the mixture is sticky, you can dampen your hands with a little water to make rolling easier.
- Place the energy bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Once set, transfer the energy bites to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
