Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup pepper jelly
  • 0.25 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • optional chopped fresh parsley for garnish
  • to serve tortilla chips or crostini

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Using an electric mixer, beat until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add the shredded cheddar cheese, mixing until well blended.
  3. Add the pepper jelly to the cheese mixture, stopping to taste and adjust the quantity based on your desired level of sweetness or spiciness.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a serving dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Optional: For an added touch, drizzle a little extra pepper jelly on top and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  8. Serve with tortilla chips or crostini for dipping.

💡 Chef's Notes

For a sweeter or spicier dip, adjust the amount of pepper jelly to taste.
