Ingredients

1 pound ground chicken

1 cup ricotta cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian seasoned)

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1 egg, lightly beaten

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, beaten egg, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix with your hands or a spoon until everything is well incorporated.

Use a small ice cream scoop or your hands to form the mixture into meatballs about 1.5 inches in diameter. Place each meatball on the prepared baking sheet, spaced slightly apart.

Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and golden brown.

While the meatballs are baking, warm the marinara sauce in a saucepan over low heat.

Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and carefully transfer them to a large baking dish. Pour the warm marinara sauce over the meatballs, ensuring they are well coated.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly on top of the meatballs and marinara sauce.

Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Allow the meatballs to cool slightly before serving.

                    Prep Time: 15 mins | Total Time: 50 mins | Servings: 4-6

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve the meatballs straight from the baking dish, garnished with additional chopped parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan. You can pair them with a side of pasta or crusty bread for a complete meal.
