Ingredients

1 pound ground chicken

1/2 cup ricotta cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1 large egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup marinara sauce

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, oregano, and basil. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Season the mixture with salt and pepper, adjusting to your taste preferences.

Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs, about the size of a golf ball, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and golden brown on the outside.

While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat.

Once the meatballs are done, transfer them to the saucepan with marinara sauce and gently stir to coat each meatball with the sauce.

Serve the meatballs warm, garnished with fresh parsley for a pop of color and additional flavor.
