4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon lemon zest

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Salt and pepper, to taste

Lemon slices, for garnish

Fresh parsley, for garnish

Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare the foil: Tear off a large piece of aluminum foil (about 2 feet long) and lay it flat on a baking sheet.

      Prepare the asparagus: In a bowl, toss the trimmed asparagus with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Arrange the asparagus in the center of the foil.

        Season the salmon: In a small bowl, mix the remaining olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Place the salmon fillets on top of the asparagus and brush the herb mixture generously over the fish.

          Fold the foil: Carefully fold the sides of the foil over the salmon and asparagus, sealing the packet tightly to create a steamy environment inside.

            Bake the packet: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The asparagus should also be tender.

              Serve: Open the foil packet carefully (watch out for steam), and serve the salmon and asparagus on plates, garnished with lemon slices and fresh parsley.
