Ingredients

12 oz spaghetti

1 lb ground beef

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1 large egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 cups marinara sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, egg, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. You should have approximately 18-20 meatballs.

In a large skillet over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil. Once hot, add the meatballs in batches, cooking until browned on all sides (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from heat.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti and marinara sauce, stirring until the pasta is well-coated.

In a large baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti mixture, then place the meatballs on top. Add the remaining spaghetti mixture over the meatballs.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Once baked, let it sit for about 5 minutes before serving.

                      Prep Time: 20 minutes | Total Time: 60 minutes | Servings: 4-6

                        - Presentation Tips: Serve the baked spaghetti and meatballs in individual bowls, garnished with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
