Ingredients

2 cans of refrigerated crescent roll dough

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 large eggs

1/3 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)

1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Fresh berries (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Roll out one can of the crescent roll dough and carefully press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, ensuring there are no gaps.

In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon zest. Beat until smooth and creamy.

Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Follow with sour cream, and mix until well combined.

Pour the cream cheese mixture evenly over the layer of crescent roll dough in the baking dish.

Roll out the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it over the cream cheese layer, pinching the seams to seal any gaps.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.

Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes, then dust with powdered sugar before slicing.

Serve warm or chilled, garnished with fresh berries for a delightful touch.
