Ingredients

1 can refrigerated biscuit dough

1 pound breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

2 cups milk

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 large eggs

Fresh chives or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease a large pizza pan or baking sheet.

Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit with your hands and arrange them in a circle on the pan, overlapping slightly to form a crust. Pinch the edges together to seal.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage, breaking it up with a spoon until fully browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

Sprinkle the flour over the sausage and stir, cooking for another minute to eliminate the raw flour taste.

Gradually whisk in the milk, ensuring there are no lumps. Continue stirring until the mixture thickens, about 4-5 minutes. Add black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, mixing thoroughly. Remove from heat.

Spread half of the sausage gravy over the biscuit crust. Reserve the other half for topping later.

Crack the eggs over the gravy, spacing them evenly across the pizza. Season them with salt and pepper if desired.

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the pizza, covering the eggs and gravy evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and the eggs are set.

Once cooked, remove from the oven and drizzle the reserved sausage gravy over the top of the pizza.

Garnish with freshly chopped chives or parsley if desired, slice, and serve warm.
