Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

4 tablespoons olive oil, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon lemon zest

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper, to taste

Lemon wedges, for garnish

Instructions

In a bowl, toss the shrimp with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and the Cajun seasoning until well coated. Set aside to marinate for about 10-15 minutes.

While the shrimp marinates, season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon fillets skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy and the salmon is cooked about halfway through. Carefully flip the fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Lower the heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add the lemon zest and let the sauce simmer for about 2-3 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.

Add the shrimp to the garlic cream sauce and cook until the shrimp turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the chopped parsley and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.

To serve, place the salmon fillets on plates, spoon the garlic cream shrimp mixture over the top, and garnish with lemon wedges for a fresh touch.
