Ingredients

2 cups vanilla ice cream

1 cup milk (whole or 2%)

1/3 cup cake mix (your choice of flavor, such as vanilla or confetti)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 tablespoons rainbow sprinkles (plus extra for garnish)

Whipped cream for topping

Maraschino cherries for garnish

Instructions

In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, milk, cake mix, and vanilla extract.

Blend on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Make sure there are no lumps from the cake mix.

Add the rainbow sprinkles to the blender and pulse gently a couple of times to mix them in without blending them completely.

Taste the milkshake and adjust the sweetness if desired by adding a bit more cake mix or ice cream, then blend again briefly.

Pour the milkshake into tall glasses and top each with a generous amount of whipped cream.

Finish with a sprinkle of extra rainbow sprinkles and a maraschino cherry on top for a fun presentation.
