Ingredients

6 fresh jalapeños, halved and seeded

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 tsp smoked paprika

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Carefully slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Set aside.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, minced garlic, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well blended.

Stuff each jalapeño half generously with the cheese mixture, making sure to pack it in firmly.

In a separate bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese together.

Press the cheese-stuffed jalapeños into the breadcrumb mixture, coating the tops well. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the jalapeños are tender and the tops are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped cilantro or sliced green onions before serving.
