Ingredients

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for spice level)

1 cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended for extra crunch)

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, beaten

Salt and pepper to taste

Oil for frying

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and creamy in texture.

Use your hands to shape the cheese mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball. If the mixture is too sticky, refrigerate it for 15-20 minutes to firm up.

Set up a dredging station: Place the flour in one shallow dish, beaten eggs in another, and the breadcrumbs in a third dish.

Roll each cheese ball first in the flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere. Repeat until all cheese balls are coated.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan or pot over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). Carefully place the cheese balls into the hot oil in batches to avoid overcrowding.

Fry for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy on the outside. Use a slotted spoon to remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels.

Serve warm, paired with your favorite dipping sauce (like marinara or ranch dressing).
