Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

½ pound ground pork

1 cup breadcrumbs

1 large egg

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon ketchup

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup cream cheese, softened

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, oregano, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully integrated.

In a separate bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese and softened cream cheese, blending them together until smooth.

Take a small handful of the meat mixture (about the size of a golf ball) and flatten it in the palm of your hand.

Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture in the center of the flattened meat and carefully fold the meat around the cheese, forming a ball and making sure the cheese is completely enclosed.

Repeat this process for each meatball, placing them onto the prepared baking sheet as you go.

Once all the meatloaf bites are shaped, bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, for a pop of color and freshness.
