Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1 ripe mango, pureed

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon sriracha (or to taste)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon ginger powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix the pureed mango, soy sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, sriracha, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper until well combined. This creates the firecracker glaze for the wings.

Marinate the Wings: Add the chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring they are all well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (or overnight for maximum flavor).

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup, and place a cooling rack on top. This allows the air to circulate around the wings for even cooking.

Bake the Wings: After marinating, remove the wings from the fridge and arrange them in a single layer on the cooling rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Glaze the Wings: In the last 5 minutes of baking, brush the wings with any remaining marinade for an additional flavor boost.

Serve: Once cooked, remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.

Garnish: Sprinkle with fresh cilantro and sesame seeds for a finishing touch.
