1/2cupchopped peanuts (optional, for added crunch)
Instructions
Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.
In a medium saucepan, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Heat over low to medium heat, stirring constantly until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt. Mix well to combine.
Spread half of the chocolate mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave the peanut butter for about 30 seconds, or until slightly melted. Stir until smooth.
Drop spoonfuls of the melted peanut butter over the chocolate layer in the baking dish. Use a knife or skewer to swirl the peanut butter into the chocolate, creating a marbled effect.
Pour the remaining chocolate mixture on top and smooth it out. Optionally, sprinkle chopped peanuts over the top for added texture.
Using the knife, create a few more swirls on top to make it visually appealing.
Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until completely set.
Once set, lift the fudge out of the dish using the parchment overhang and cut into squares.
Notes
Arrange the fudge squares on a decorative plate and drizzle a little melted chocolate over them for a stunning visual. Consider dusting with cocoa powder or additional chopped peanuts for garnish.
