Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup brown sugar, packed

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup granulated sugar (for rolling)

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (for rolling)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.

Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, blending until fully combined.

Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.

In a small bowl, mix the 1/2 cup of granulated sugar with the 2 teaspoons of cinnamon for rolling the cookies.

Once the dough is chilled, use a tablespoon or cookie scoop to scoop out the dough and roll it into balls. Roll each ball in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat completely.

Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers may look slightly underbaked but will firm up as they cool.

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Prep Time: 30 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour | Servings: 24 cookies

                        - Presentation Tips: Serve the cookies on a beautiful plate, dusted lightly with additional cinnamon sugar. For a fun touch, include a small bowl of cream cheese frosting on the side for dipping!
