Ingredients

6 cinnamon rolls (store-bought or homemade)

3 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon butter (for cooking)

Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Maple syrup (for serving)

Instructions

Start by preheating your griddle or a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.

While the griddle heats up, cut each cinnamon roll into quarters. This will give you bite-sized pieces that are perfect for French toast.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.

Dip each quartered cinnamon roll piece into the egg mixture, making sure to coat them thoroughly but not too saturated.

Melt the tablespoon of butter on the griddle, spreading it evenly.

Place the coated cinnamon roll bites onto the griddle in a single layer, giving them space to cook evenly.

Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.

Once cooked, remove them from the griddle and repeat the process with any remaining pieces.

Dust the warm cinnamon roll bites with powdered sugar before serving.

Serve with warm maple syrup on the side for dipping.
