Ingredients

1 lb flank steak

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

8 mini slider buns

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 large tomato, sliced

½ red onion, thinly sliced

½ cup cowboy butter (recipe below)

Cowboy Butter Ingredients:

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Cowboy Butter: In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chives, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated. Transfer to a piece of plastic wrap and roll it into a log shape. Chill in the refrigerator until firm, about 30 minutes.

Cook the Steak: Season the flank steak generously with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing into thin strips.

Assemble the Sliders: Slice the mini slider buns in half. Spread a generous amount of cowboy butter on the cut sides of the buns. On the bottom half of each bun, layer shredded lettuce, a few slices of steak, a slice of tomato, and some red onion. Top with the other half of the bun.

Final Touch: Optional - Preheat the grill or a nonstick pan and toast the assembled sliders for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and the butter is melted and bubbly.

Serve: Cut sliders in half for easier handling, and serve warm with your favorite sides like potato chips or fries.
